PetPet

A little help, when you need it.

Paid, but access hasn't appeared?

Open Settings → Membership → Restore Purchases. Use the App Store account used for the purchase. Lifetime Family also needs the iCloud account used when buying it. Stay online, then reopen Membership.

How does the 5-person family work?

A family includes the purchaser and up to 4 other people. The purchaser invites each person from a pet's sharing page. Family members enter their individual invitation code to join. The owner must also grant edit permission. Family access applies to pets shared by the purchaser; each member's own pets follow their personal plan.

The free plan includes 1 pet of your own and lets you accept invitations to view shared pets. Personal membership lets you add more pets, start sharing and edit shared records with the owner's permission. Lifetime Family includes personal benefits for the purchaser and the family collaboration described above.

Why can't I add photos to a shared pet?

New members start with view-only access. Adding, editing or uploading requires the owner's permission and either a personal membership or valid family access. Paying alone does not change the owner's permissions.

What happens when sharing stops?

All invited members lose access to that pet. Their devices remove its content after syncing online; the owner's records remain. To share again, send new invitations for everyone to rejoin. Copies saved to Photos or exported outside the app cannot be recalled.

Invitation codes and notifications

Each code is for one person and is valid for 7 days. Ask the owner for a new invitation if it expires. You can paste either an English or Chinese invitation. Both people need iCloud. Manage notifications in the app and in system Settings. Nearby updates may be grouped, and delivery can be affected by network and system limits.

Photos, weights and backups

A photo record can include an optional weight. Cutouts are on by default; use the switch to keep the original. Tap the save button or long-press a photo to save its original or transparent cutout to Photos. If you declined photo access, allow it in system Settings.

Records sync through the same iCloud account. If sync pauses, check your connection, iCloud sign-in and available storage. New records awaiting upload stay on the device. Export a journal as a PDF from Settings. Before restoring a backup, make sure it contains the version you want.

Delete an account or cancel a subscription

Delete account & data at the bottom of Settings clears local and iCloud data and leaves your shares and family. It requires a connection and cannot be undone. Afterwards, follow the in-app instructions to remove Sign in with Apple authorization in your Apple Account.

Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Use Manage Subscription in Membership or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Apple handles refunds; requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com.
